The most common species of dove one will encounter in South Texas is the White-winged Dove. Aptly named due to the solid white coloring of the line of feathers along their wings.

Dove hunts are an exciting opportunity to kick back with a group of friends and wait for birds to pass over. Have a small group you're bringing along? That works, too! Plenty of birds to go around.
